Vampire Diaries' Elena vs. Twilight Saga's Bella: Who Will Kick More Ass?

This fall 2012, both The Vampire Diaries Season 4 and The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 2 will feature story lines where their leading ladies become newborn vampires.  As you may remember, at the end of Season 3, Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev), from The Vampire Diaries, was in the hospital, and Dr. Fell gave her vampire blood to "help" her.  After that, Elena got into a car accident with Matt and died with vampire blood still in her system, at which point she woke up in transition.

The Epic Finale Trailer of The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 2 is here: Can The Vampire Diaries Season 4 Measure Up?

The Twilight Saga vs. The Vampire Diaries: Which Vampire Kicks More Ass - Bella or Elena?

The final trailer of The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 2 Is Nothing Short of Epic: Will The Vampire Diaries Season 4 Be Able to Compete?

So, provided Bonnie doesn't go and ruin things by doing a spell that will save her, Elena Gilbert will become a vampire on The Vampire Diaries Season 4, which premieres on the CW this October 11, 2012.

Similarly, The Twilight Saga's Bella Cullen (Kristen Stewart) died at the end of Breaking Dawn Part 1, giving birth to her half-vampire/half-human child, Renesmee.  To "save" her, eternal hubby Edward (Robert Pattinson) bit her a few times on undisclosed places and let his vampire venom hit her full blast. At that point, the venom spread through her system in a most scifi fashion, and Bella's eyelids flew open Avatar style.

When it comes to Bella Cullen, there's no doubt she will be a vampire in the epic finale of The Twilight Saga movie franchise.  As for Elena Gilbert, we don't know yet if she will become a vampire, but let's hope she does.

An important question comes up about both of these newborn vampires.  Will they drink human blood? We know for a fact that Bella does not drink human blood in the book, so most likely she won't do it in the movie.  The only human blood she will drink will be from hospital bags.

As for Elena, she does drink human blood from her ex-boyfriend Matt in the book, so let's hope to God she does it on the TV show as well, because that would be kind of hot.

So, which vampire kicks more ass so far?  We don't know much about Elena's vampire powers yet, but, judging by the trailers, Bella Cullen definitely takes the trophy thanks to her amazing Spiderman-like moves.

This is especially so because all Elena Gilbert does in the Vampire Diaries Season 4 trailer is whine like a little baby about how she doesn't want to be a vampire and yada, yada, yada.  Bella, on the contrary, is happily adjusting to her new life as a vampire and all the cool features it comes with.

Come on, Elena, live a little!

The Vampire Diaries Season 4 vs. The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 2: Which Vampires Have More Epic Powers?

If you watch the video above, you will be able to watch the epic trailer of The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 2.  You will notice that the Cullens are preparing for the final battle against the Italian mafiosos from Volterra, the Volturi.  These are some majorly evil villains, so the Cullens travel halfway across the world to enlist vampires galore who will help them battle the Volturi.

When it comes to The Vampire Diaries Season 4, there haven't been any specifics revealed yet about who the new villains will be.  The originals are played out already, so they either need to go or join the goodies, because we can't take another season of Klaus and his redundant stupidity.  We know for sure that there will be a new apex predator, but we have yet to find out who it will be.  I'm guessing it will be a new breed of vampire hunters that will help the new evil Alaric, but nothing's for sure yet.

Bottom line is, after seeing the epic trailer of The Twilight Saga grand finale, one has to wonder if The Vampire Diaries Season 4 will be able to measure up.  The Twilight Saga is pulling no punches.  Bella, for one, is flaunting some badass moves that Vampire Diaries vamps don't have.  Check out the scene when she goes hunting for a mountain lion.

She literally leaps high up in the air and pounces on the lion Spiderman style.  This stunt is nothing short of glorious.  It involves wire removal and a green screen, I'm pretty sure, so it's something worth watching several times.  It happens so fast, that you can't even take a damn screenshot.  Now that's cinematography.

I mean, I wish I could see Elena Gilbert pulling off those kickass moves, but I doubt the CW can measure up to that kind of technology, so we'll have to wait and see.

Aside from Bella, there are other new vampires introduced that seem to boast pretty impressive powers such as water magic.  So, as opposed to True Blood and Vampire Diaries where the vamps are all bark and no bite, The Twilight Saga movie franchise is definitely shaping up to be a major evolutionary leap in the fictional history of vampires.

It's such a shame that Twilight vamps don't have fangs, but other than that, I'd have to conclude based on the Twilight Saga and Vampire Diaries trailers that Twilight vamps have more epic powers than Vampire Diaries vamps.

The Vampire Diaries Season 4 vs. The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 2: What Villains Are More Kickass?

Again, since The Vampire Diaries Season 4 hasn't really released any specific info about their new villains, we can't really compare them to the Volturi.  However, if the villains are going to be as puny and cartoonish as Klaus and his original family, we can already tell that The Twilight Saga will win in that department as well, because the Volturi are truly quite kickass except for their cake-face makeup.
